Leckey sleepform

Leckey Sleepform is a new sleep positioning system, designed to provide

a safe, comfortable way of supporting the sleeping child. Extending

postural support into the night is vital, especially during the skeletal

development stage of children. A night-time support, easing the child

into a comfortable position while allowing for gentle movement, may

assist in a better night's sleep, both for the child and care givers! Us-

ing the Sleepform System will also reduce the needs of repositioning

during the night.

The Sleepform Vacuum Mattress is easily arranged

The Leckey Sleepform system is made up of several adjustable parts;

to contour to your child"s body shape.

the Sleepform Mattress, Air Flow Mattress, Cushioned Chest and Hip

Guide, and Cushioned Leg and Knee Guides. Using a vacuum pump,

the Sleepform Mattress moulds to the child's body shape to provide an

adjustable, contoured support surface for hip and trunk positioning.

Over the Sleepform Mattress is the Air Flow Mattress, which provides

air circulation and maintains a comfortable sleeping temperature for

improved sleeping. The Cushioned Chest and Hip Guide are made of

elastic belts that secure the child in a safe position while allowing for

gentle movement. Cushioned Leg and Knee Guides are also elastic belts

for positioning the knees in a symmetrical posture, further continuing

support for the child.

Vacuum Pump

Supplied as a kit form which contains all necessary parts for night po-

sitioning. The kit can be used by therapist as a evaluation tool for home

visit or loan to the family. Individual parts can also be purchased to suit

the user's needs or for replacement parts.

Other components include: the Knee Roll and Air Flow Pillows, which

can be used for additional positioning and comfort.
