Rifton Seating System
The Rifton Seating System is a complete range of adaptive chair systems to suit your
specific needs. It comprises of a Stationary chair for the minimally disabled child who
can walk; a low back mobile chair for those who need support in the lower extremities;
and a high back mobile chair for those who requires more upper body support.
It provides adjustable seating depth, seat height, back angle (15° range) tilting chair frame
(forward 12° and backward 12°) and/or spring action. You can customize it by adding or
removing individual components to suit different users or cater for the user's changing
conditions. Most importantly, it works well with the M.O.V.E. Program as a training tool
for the user to learn to sit upright, and to transfer from sit-to-stand position. As the child
progresses, supports can be removed, hence the child will gain functionality and be able
to better interact with family and friends.
The Rifton Seating System is available in three sizes with various back height combina-
tions. You can choose from a range of accessories to customise the chair including flat
or contoured headrests, abductor, leg prompts, trunk support, sandals and wedges, arm
anchors, additional side pads, tray and handhold.
The High Back Rifton Mobile Chair, with a contoured
headrest, abductor, trunk supports, footboard with
sandals.
