The CuddleBug Early Intervention wheelchair by Convaid has been
designed with a host of standard features. CuddleBug has a depth
adjustable seat with foam hip inserts, height adjustable armrest's, re-
movable and washable seat covers with a breathable padded seat insert,
one-piece angle adjustable elevating footplates, headrest cover & calf
panel; silver powder coated frame, under seat storage tray, swivelling
6 inch front wheels and 8 inch solid rear wheels (optional 11 inch solid
or pneumatic) with toggle type wheel locks.
The Cuddlebug's tilt-in-space mobility base has 5 to 30 degree of
adjustable tilt and 90 to 160 degree of adjustable recline. The mobility
base has a height adjustable range of 7 inches (18 cm) without the use
of tools and with the child seated, catering for different activities such
as feeding and play.
The Cuddlebug's base folds compactly without the need to remove
the seating module; it can be easily transported in the boot of a typical
family car.
The Transit Model comes standard with 3 point belt with depth adjustable
crotch straps, adjustable contoured headrest, anterior trunk support &
foot positioners.
