The Swivel Base system minimises the risk of back injury as it limits
awkward bending and twisting, making it safe for both the parent/carer
and seat user. The FAS Swivel Base for Columbia Car seat allows you (1)
to move the car seat forward and (2) turn the car seat to face and close
to the opened car door. In this position it will be much easier to load
and unload the user to the car seat. The seat on swivel base can also
tilt backward more. Once the swivel seat and car seat have been fitted
in your vehicle the seat can be swivelled with a few simple steps. If you
already have an existing car seat, the FAS Swivel Base can be retro-fitted
