KayeWalker
The Kaye Posterior Walkers are designed to facilitate children
with cerebral palsy to ambulate with better alignment and gait.
They are available in three configurations. The two wheeled
walker has crutch tips on rear legs which give greater friction
against the floor so that the walker moves more slowly. The R-
series four wheeled walker moves forward with each step the
child takes. The ratcheted rear wheels prevent backward
movement of the walker so the child walks safely with more
natural rhythm.
The front swivel wheeled walker increases ease of
maneuverabilityandturning. Thefrontswivelwheelscanbelocked
for straight ahead tracking. For all walkers the base increases as
the height raises, assuring both anterior-posterior and lateral
stability regardless of the size of the child. It is an easy transition
from the KAYE Posture Control Walker to crutches or independent
walking since the child has established appropriate alignment,
weight bearing, postural reactions and confidence. All walkers fold
for easy transport and storage. Kaye Walker is available in 5 sizes
(size ½ to size 4) to cater for small child to adult. Accessories such
