Developmental Forearm Crutches
Developmental Forearm Crutches are
designed to accommodate the different
changes and growth patterns seen in
children with developmental disabilities. It
offers a very tall, thin child or short stocky
child with a cuff and handgrip for his body
type. The handgrip rotates to allow any
degree of pronation or supination which
accommodates the developmental changes
in the shoulder girdle and forearm as the
child matures. All three handgrips fit all
crutch lengths.
The cuff is designed with a metal
backed half-cuff, and a leather front cuff
with velcro closure to provide support
around the entire forearm. Five different
sizes fit arm circumference of children all
ages. The adjustability of the handgrip to
cuff distance has been increased to accom-

for indoor (Explorer) and outdoor (Discovery
use. They come standard with height
adjustable chest pad with flexible lateral
supports; Height adj. abductor; wheel
direction lock; reverse lock, etc. for
moderately involved person. 3 sizes suit 1.5 to
12 yr. old. Optional hip lateral, abdominal pad,
arm supports, push handle and leg prompts.
